Waste disposal

FROM THAME WATER to all residents:

We have been carrying out investigations in Lewknor on the sewerage network and at the Sewage treatment works and we have found that the sewerage system is being misused which is causing blockages. It would be great if you can assist with our Bin-it campaign and advise people that all that should be flushed with water are the 3 P’s = poo, pee and paper (toilet paper), everything else should be disposed of in a bin. In the kitchen fat, oils and grease can be collected in a jar and either disposed off in the food waste when cool or bid seed added to it to make fat balls for the birds.
