Plea for residents to buy local

South Oxfordshire District Council is calling on residents to support local shops and cafes in the run up to Christmas.

And the council has confirmed that parking will be free in towns, including Thame, on the 3 Saturdays running up to Christmas. Users will not have to display a ticket on the free days.

With many shops affected by the Covid-19 restrictions, this year it is particularly important that people support local traders where they can, while maintaining social distancing and face covering requirements.
